Sydney is 18 years old and currently studying singing with Imogen Nichols. As the current winner of the PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year, she has had the privilege of singing at a number of events including the soprano solo in Rutter's Magnificat and performing at the 'Classical experience' concert in the park.

Sydney also was invited to sing Beautiful Jersey on Liberation Day, and has since performed the piece a number of times, including for The British Irish Council held in Jersey, and at the joint concert of the Jersey and Antigua & Barbuda Youth Orchestra's. Sydney also has an interest in musical theatre and recently played Liesl in the Art Centre's production of The Sound of Music in December.
