Karen has always loved singing.  She studied music at Newcastle College then accidentally found herself in Jersey where she married, had two sons and has happily remained ever since.  She has carried on studying here with teacher Gitte-Maj Donoghue and was awarded the ATCL Diploma in singing.  

She has sung with the Amity Singers as soprano and sometime soloist for many years, sings with the church choir at St. Saviour’s Church and from time to time sings with local amateur opera singers.  She has sung with the Jersey chamber choir since it’s inception.
