Since singing Verdi Requiem aged 11, Bill has sung on and off in schools, universities and around the world. He led and performed with the Bristol University Madrigal Ensemble and was a member of the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge.
He subsequently performed, recorded and toured extensively and internationally with many choirs including Emmanuel College, Cambridge, the Holst Singers, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields under Sir Neville Marriner and the Edinburgh Festival Choir (performing Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder under Claudio Abbado and the UK premiere of György Kurtág’s Songs of Despair and Sorrow).
