Angela studied violin, clarinet, recorder and singing throughout her schooling and was making music with her family from a very early age having a mum and two uncles who were all music teachers locally.

A member of the Jersey Youth Orchestra performing in France and at the Festival Hall in London, and locally with the St. Cecelia Orchestra.   Her instruments were packed away to concentrate on singing supporting her church choir, the Jersey Festival Choir, as a founder member of the group “Eight” and a member of the chamber choir “Polyphonie” under the direction of Jonathan Pollard.  She was a member of her mother’s ladies choir “The Holmchase Singers” for many years and in 2008 took over as their Director.

She was the Secretary of the Music Section of the Jersey Eisteddfod for nine years, and is currently a Trustee on the “The John Lobb Memorial Trust” supporting students financially with a career in music.

When not singing or directing “Holmchase”, Angela’s other loves are Baking (especially making Sourdough)  gardening and her three grandchildren.
